Third instalment of Life on Earth Presents

Life on Earth Label was back at it again this week with their third instalment of Bluey Robinson and Friends at Stereo, Covent Garden. The night was alive with incredible guest artists and the usual vibrant atmosphere we’ve come to know from their absolutely unforgettable events. The label has kept up with its personal and intimate approaches to the shows giving the audience a chance to be involved with exciting interactive games and memorable performances. The show featured artists including Hari, Emma Robin, Jo Jordan, Delleile Ankrah and of course, our host for the night, Bluey Robinson. Keeping the night flowing effortlessly, was the impeccable show put on by the band, which was made up of, Mafro.W on guitar, Calvin ‘CS’ on drums and Darnell ‘Darnz’ on bass.

The night began with an introduction by the amazing host, Bluey Robinson, who performed a couple of tracks to really get the crowd going including Rick James’ ‘Mary Jane’. Bluey got the audience up and dancing before introducing the first guest act of the night, the remarkable Hari. Hari took to the stage and captivated everyone with her set, opening with her original song ‘What Lovers Do’. We then had the pleasure of seeing the incredible Emma Robins cover an Amy Winehouse classic ‘Me&Mr Jones’ effortlessly amongst a few other tracks. Robins was shortly followed up by Jo Jordan who really showed off his range with some incredible vocal runs and his original song ‘Waste No Time’. Delleile Ankrah, who was the final guest act of the night, ended his extraordinary set with the Mario classic ‘Let Me Love You’ alongside Bluey Robinson and Jo Jordan, with the crowd singing at the top of their lungs, hoping the music wouldn’t stop. Once the live performances had sadly come to an end, the night carried on with an after party with the DJ taking over playing R&B classics. The artists joined the crowd for the post-show celebration, dancing and chatting to members of the audience wrapping up the evening perfectly and announcing the date for their next event, November 7th, 2023.

As always Life on Earth Label created a sense of community and togetherness in the American themed venue, with the crowd not only supporting the performers, but also each other during the word association game, which this time was followed up by a quiz segment to put the audience’s musical knowledge to the test. It always strikes me as feeling a little surreal, how their events can make everyone feel so included. The performers this time around were all astonishing with different vibes that were worked into the setlist perfectly to really set the tone for evening. Life on Earth have really created something special with these events and we hope to see many more.
