Burna Boy Live At The Camden Roundhouse

Burna Boy put on an incredible show on September 1st in the famous Camden Roundhouse. Promoting his new album ‘I Told Them...’, The Nigerian born Afro-beats star packed out the venue and gave his fans the show of a lifetime. Burna Boy made his mark in the UK charts in 2017 with his collaboration with East London artist J Hus on the song ‘Good Time’. Since then, he has taken over with multiple singles and albums in the top 50, including the album ‘Love Damini’. The African Giant singer has also reached the Billboard Top 100 in the US with songs including ‘Loved by You’ and ‘Talibans II’. Throughout his major success, Burna Boy has contributed to multiple soundtracks including that of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever and The Lion King (2019) With good vibes all round, the audience got an intimate performance with the artist who performed tracks from his latest record, dropping in some of his previous releases including ‘Last Last’, ‘Location’ and ‘Play Play’.  

The building was booming, thick basslines and bullish beats resonating through the Northwest London venue. The bright stage backing combined with Burna’s alluring stage presence set the tone for a truly captivating evening, every member of the crowds' eyes fixed on the singer as he made sure he put on a show that no-one would forget.  

The singer performed songs off of his latest album such as ‘City Boys’, ‘Sittin’ On Top Of The World’, ‘Tested, Approved & Trusted’ throughout the show, giving the audience a taste of his new release. The new songs were welcomed by the fans with open arms and a whining waists as the upbeat anthems kept flooding through the entire night. The entire atmosphere was not only brought by the artist himself, but his entire band and the audience. The singer invited members of his band front and centre on stage whilst performing songs from the new album to dance and bask in the moment alongside him. The crowd went wild, mimicking the motions of those on stage and chanting back lyrics at the top of their voices. As the night came to a close, we received a medley of previous songs that included ‘Location’ on which he featured for Brixton artist, Dave. The whole evening was full of incredible music, vibrant rhythms and anyone lucky enough to make it to the spectacular showcase will be remembering it for years to come.
